I know not everyone was very hopeful that Grandma was going to be able to qualify for many benefits to help her remain in her house and be able to afford it. A quick note that I am sure she would want you all to know, but is unable to access the internet. She went to her H.E.A.T. meeting, the one that I had set up for her before going back to Virginia. After speaking to the woman over the phone, we were sure Grandma would qualify for something, just not sure what. So Grandma went to the appointment on the 1st of September, owing just over $600 on her utility bill, and they paid $500 of it for her. Which means they are going to pay about 78% of her future bills. yah....
I think we should all be very thankful!
